Review and Swatch: MAC Embrace Me

Spring/summer means to me Bold lipcolor,the brighter the better! Bight pink is a perfect shade for this season..Some of my favorites from MAC are Impassioned,Moxie,Party Parrot,Lickable and Show Orchid. I already have some bright bold pink lipsticks in my lipstick collection but as Embrace me was a limited edition lipstick so I was not willing to miss it… Embrace Me lipstick came out along with a lippencil,nailpolish and eyeshadow in a spring collection called Fashion set ….all of them were from same color family. 

Embrace me Lipstick is a blue undertoned bright fuchsia lipstick,MAC says it’s a full matte lipstick where I found its not ,it has little bit on sheen and tiny shimmer in it ,though those shimmers are not that much visible. I was  110% sure that I will not love this lipstick and I don’t like candy yum yum on me and I thought it would be very similar to candy yum yum  but after swatching  few times in different lights I found it is less brighter than candy yum yum. I still don’t love it like my other bold lipsticks but I liked it,I feel I don’t look good with this color but whatever it is im happy to have it in my collection.I loved the lippencil more than the lipstick though the lip pencil is little dry.

As it is so bright, so I recommend keeping the rest of your makeup pared down.I tend to go with little eyeliner( not the carbon black liner)some mascara, and a bit of luminizer on my cheekbones, so the focus is on my lips. I usually apply lipcolor with a lip brush, blot the color a little bit then apply from the tube, blot, apply from the tube one more time and smudge with finger, and am all set to go. I don’t always lippencil but when it comes to bold lipcolor I have to use liner first for long lasting lipcolor.I have taken this picture right after I got it and immediately used it so I dint use lip pencil and I had problem with it bleeding after few mins (30-40 mins).The staying power is not as good as the other lipsticks from this collection,I think this lipstick has least staying power that other lipsticks but it lasts through at least two glass of juice! And very good thing is, Blue undertones makes my teeth more white but it makes me little dark :P:P:P

I know all lipsticks from this collection are already sold out everywhere but if you can manage then take it….dont miss any limited edition products because you never know when you are falling in  love for limited items:D

Review and Swatch:MAC Heroine Lipstick.

Many of you know,I will not be available to post anything for few days and  I really want to post my review about the lipscticks of MAC fashion set 2013.

So Im jumping into my thoughts about one of the lipsticks from that collection,

and yes this is the lipstick that I have been waiting for so long.

Heroine is my fave lipstick from the Reel Sexy collection,

but I was not able to take this lipstick at that time and

 I was desperately waiting for it.

Heroine is a opaque magenta purple lipcolor which has sheen to it,though MAC claims its a matte lipstick but

 Im really not agree.

 One of the  MAC empolyees told me it will not be a 

very long lasting lipstick without lippencil yeasterday,

but I found its a very very long lasting lipstick

 which lasts almost 7 hours on me and

 it leaves a beautiful stain after which I loved so much.

I dont know how like it on me but Im so in love with this color,

Im nc40 with dark hair and I felt I look nice with this midtone purple magenta color,

its not dark I mean it is quite dark in person but I

 wanted more darker tone in it......

As its pretty dark and not for everyday use or for all seasons 

so Im not going to recommend it to those people

 who are not comfortable with dark vampy lips

A look with MAC Blue Brown Pigment

 I have been doing random eyemakeup lately,whenever I feel bored or alone I start doing experiment with MAC's pigment,As these are so new to me. 

Few days ago I have done this eyemakeup with a most wonderful pigment called Blue Brown,I’m so happy "Blue Brown" turned out wonderful.I thought it would be a great look to share with you so quickly done my other makeup.. 

As this is not a tutorial so Im just posting all the products that I have used to create this look.

I only used 3 shadows for my eyemakeu.I have applied soft brown color from Urban 

Decay Naked 1 palette and created a define crease then applied Blue Brown all over my eyelid as I wanted to see how Blue Brown looks wet. so I wet a little bit of pigment powder with mixing medium and applied all over my eyelid and lower lash line and then with a clean blending brush I blended the harsh lines which created by the Blue Brown pigment on my crease area. I have taken a little bit of soft brown shadow again and put it on the crease and blend that with my highlight color,My highlight color was Vanilla shadow by MAC As well. 

For the rest of my makeup I have used :
Face: 

*Sonia Kashuk Face Primer

*Armani Fluid Sheer mixed with Nars Sheer Glow Foundation.
*Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer

*MAC's Msf-Natural.

Cheeks:

I have used a mixed blush

 (I randomly put one color on top of other so cant say which color is this :)
NARS Laguna Bronzer and Orgasm Illuminator < /span>

Lips:

YSL no 9

( This is the stain version:)
Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Blue Brown Pigment (wet)
MAC Mixing Medium 

Soft Brown Color from URBAN DECAY NAKED 1

MAC Vanilla
MAC BlackTrack Fluidline
UD's Zero on my water line
Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes.

I have done this look very randomly and truned out so wonderfull (well to me at least) I hope you liked this look as well.

Fox in a Box :O....is fox really in a box ??

I have recently become super blush obsessed :(

I am such a sucker for cute packaging...when I first saw these boxes i could not resist myself to include these in my blush collection,these are my first products from HARD CANDY.I absolutly adore their packaging...

I took three cheek products in May 2011

1.Spicy &sweet

2.Smooth Talker

3.Pillow Talk

Spicy & Sweet :Hard Candy Fox in a Box in "Spicy & Sweet" is a boxed blush/bronzer quad containing three warm-toned blushes

Smooth Talker: Smooth Talker is mix of pink and peach shades,These are suppose to be dupes for Benefits box blushes, which i don't own so i don't know how well they match up. This particular quad is the Sugarbomb dupe.

The Fox in a Box quads were first released in Hard Candy's 2011 Spring Collection. 

 I find that the product is too powdery and chalky and the applicator is horrible,i use my regular small blush brush. I swirl all colors together then apply lightly.

For only $6, this product is a great buy with great quality!

 Another adorable cheek product is Hide & Glow duo cheek tint,I bought this in "Pillow Talk" and love it. The colors are really nice and blend in so easily Pillow Talk  offers two true pink shades. Fortunately, this duo is super pigmented. I really like the colors. They are pretty alone but would also work as great bases to be set with pink powder blushes. 

Seriously inexpensive product...less than $10 for 2 shades of creaml blush!!! 

Totally worth it!

Swatch:MAC Fashion Sets for Spring 2013 (Lipsticks)

Hey dolls,I have received my parcel today.and just randomly swatched every lipstick from the collection,and posting a quick blogpost so that you can have a little idea about the color and grab your favourite one from the store.
